Upon arrival in the Fort Carson, Colorado area, the post is easily accessed by taxi or rental car. The Colorado Springs Airport is the nearest major airport and is located about 10 miles from Fort Carson. For assistance with transportation to the base, contact the Armed Forces YMCA Booth which is located near the baggage claim area #4. Transportation to the base is available 24 hours a day by calling 1-800-279-1151. When arriving by car, follow the Airport Road exit to Academy Blvd and turn left. Pass the exit for Fort Carson Gate #4 at B Street and continue onto State Highway 115 towards Canon City. Pass the Fort Carson Gate #2 exit and proceed two miles to Fort Carson Gate #1 on your left.
